神秘之城

约旦佩特拉 它以岩石的色彩而常常被称为“玫瑰红城市” 这段延时将向你展示它威严而又瑰丽的一面。 The ancient city of «Petra» is a place full of mysteries. Little is known about this symbol of Jordan and now the country's most visited tourist attraction. It was established possibly as early as 312 BC as the capital city of the Nabataeans. It's called «Petra» (meaning: stone) today, but the original name of the city is not known. The site remained unknown until 1812, when it was introduced to the Europeans by Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. About the shooting: «Petra - In the City of Mysteries» is after «Amman - City in Motion» (vimeo.com/46847325) and «Wadi Rum - A Majestic Landscape» (vimeo.com/47899470) my third time lapse movies about different sites in Jordan shot and edited for the Jordan Tourism Boaord (visitjordan.com). Shooting took place during 3 days in July 2012. Equipment used for the «Petra» video: Canon 7D, Canon G12 and Panasonic GH2, a set of lenses, a GoPro 2 and two tripods. Rendered and edited in After Effects, Motion and Final Cut Pro X. Blur effects all added in post (no tilt-shift lenses). Music: «Rise of an Empire» of Chris Haigh, with a license of premiumbeat.com

我的城 我的时光

绿草蓝天 如诗如梦的约塞米特国家公园究竟是一番怎样的美轮美奂?让我们一同回到最美的自然中去。 Two months ago we set out for a weeklong trip to Yosemite National Park. Inspired by Sheldon Neill, Colin Delehanty (Yosemite) and naturally Tom Lowe (TimeScapes), I got hold of a Stage Zero Timelapse Dolly so I could try to take a few time-lapse shots of the breathtaking landscape in the park. I soon discovered that one week is not nearly enough time for a meaningful project and therefore decided to make my time-lapse debut at home in the Ore Mountains in the Czech Republic, in the very heart of Europe. Nearly every day for the entire summer I set off with my camera to the local mountains to try to capture moments that we don't ordinarily perceive as anything special, but which are in their very essence quite exceptional. Thanks to this project, this summer was filled with the most meaningful experiences -- and I never had to leave my country. I discovered some beautiful spots I hadn't known before; I was often in the wilderness before the break of dawn, saw many animals in their natural habitat, witnessed stunning sunsets and fled looming storms with my equipment over my shoulders. I didn't manage to capture everything as I would have wanted, but I came away with several good catches such as the swift approach of a mountain storm and a Perseid meteor shower from the comet Swift-Tuttle, which passes the Earth once every 130 years. If you enjoy this video, please share it with your friends. I would also be grateful for your comments. Thank you. 被遗弃的救济院

华盛顿时报的视频导演Drew Geraci制作了这段动人的延时摄影短片,记录了一个被遗弃数十年的救济院,色调阴柔华美,别是一番滋味。 district7media.net @TheVoder @District7M ***Update*** Download "Asylum" - original music track here - lenn9o9n.bandcamp.com/track/asylum-featuring-eyeway Take a dark journey into the forgotten, where time stands still. The paint has peeled off the walls and the only occupants are the souls of those left behind. This is the Asylum. Opened in the early 1920s, the Asylum closed down and was abandoned decades ago. Rooms remain untouched and stand as a reminder of what the past once held. Our 7 month journey into the Asylum led us on many adventures; from dodging security vehicles, ghostly figures and even a meth head. This is no place for the faint of heart. Asbestos blanketed every room we entered like new winter snow, so shooting was sometimes difficult. This project is a combination of traditional HDR, tone-mapping, and standard time-lapse techniques. With the use of the Dynamic Perception Stage Zero and a Merlin head, we were able to capture the grit and the grime of this wondrous place, like it had never been captured before. Every single frame in this production is a still photograph, no video was shot. It took nearly 35,000 individual frames over 7 months to complete this project. In return, it took tremendous help from many individuals to complete this project. Many thanks to, Russ Scalf, Chris Griffin, Nick Kurtz, Brett Cote, Walter Wayman and Laura Buchta.Without you, this project wouldn't be possible. 穿越冰岛

See the new behind the scenes video: vimeo.com/49233570 Like us on Facebook: facebook.com/evosiastudios Follow us on Twitter: twitter.com/evosia Website: evosiastudios.com A joint collaboration with rock / ambient / experimental band MONO (monoofjapan.com), Legend takes you on an epic 12 minute visual and aural journey through Iceland's breathtaking landscapes during the time of the midnight sun. The film travels across Iceland, from the floating blue icebergs of Jokulsarlon's glacial lagoon to the steaming geothermic vents of Myvatn, the colorful mountains of Landmannalaugar to the breathtaking sunsets on Snaefellnes Peninsula, and the barren volcanic landscapes of Askja to the vast fields of lupin near Husavik. Legend was shot over a 2 week period in June 2012 when the sun barely sets below the horizon and you never see darkness. It was filmed completely in 5K resolution using Canon full frame DSLRs on motion timelapse equipment from Kessler Crane. Mono's score of the same name, Legend, is from their upcoming album "For my parents". Its edgy cinematic and epic quality helps describe Iceland - a breathtakingly beautiful yet unforgivingly dangerous place. The album is available for pre-order: monoishere.com/2012/07/30/pre-order-for-my-parents-now/ We would like to thank the following supporters for making this film possible: Kessler Crane: KesslerCrane.com Glacier Rental Car: glaciercarrental.is Special thanks to Egill Agustsson and Adalsteinn Petur Karlsson of Husavik for their help with my car problems on Iceland National Day. It's the country's biggest holiday and they helped me get back on the road so I could continue filming. Last but not least, a big thank you to fellow filmmaker Joe Capra (scientifantastic.com) for his guidance and inspiration. His tips and advice were invaluable in helping me prepare for this trip. 都市之巅

当盗梦的原声响起,就足以震撼你我。这部跨年之作,毫不吝啬地展现大都市与自然之间的不同! / About the Project As of today, it is estimated that there are more than 7 billion humans living on Earth. Humans have only been a glimpse in the Earth’s timeline, yet in the last 200 years the evolution of mankind has skyrocketed as well as the need for Earth’s resources. Skyscrapers are growing taller than the next, like huge trees battling for sunlight. At night, from a higher point of view, traffic evokes lava flowing down a volcano. Like a giant ant colony, humans have made this planet their own. But what about the Earth? Can we continue to take without consequences? The City Limits tries to show that even though we are the dominant species on the planet, there is something bigger than us. In Carl Sagan’s own words “Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. It is up to us.” Human progress and technology are developing at exponential rates but at what cost? Where is the city’s limit? / Technical Info Camera: Canon 5D Mark II Lenses: Canon 14 II, Canon 24 II, Canon 70-200 / Licensing For licensing information please visit: dominicboudreault.com/licensing / Connect with Me Website: dominicboudreault.com Twitter: twitter.com/domboudreault Instagram: instagram.com/dominicboudreault

北极晨光

感受纯净的世界,五彩缤纷的景致,延时摄影中的极品之作,北极那片净土美不胜收! Follow me on facebook.com/TSOphotography for more photos, videos & updates. This was filmed between 29th April and 10th May 2011 in the Arctic, on the archipelago Lofoten in Norway. My favorite natural phenomenon is one I do not even know the name of, even after talking to meteorologists and astrophysicists I am none the wiser. What I am talking about I have decided to call The Arctic Light and it is a natural phenomenon occurring 2-4 weeks before you can see the Midnight Sun. The Sunset and Sunrise are connected in one magnificent show of color and light lasting from 8 to 12 hours. The sun is barely going below the horizon before coming up again. This is the most colorful light that I know, and the main reason I have been going up there for the last 4 years, at the exact same time of year, to photograph. Based on previous experience, I knew this was going to be a very difficult trip. Having lost a couple of cameras and some other equipment up there before, it was crucial to bring an extra set of everything. I also made sure I had plenty of time in case something went wrong. If you can imagine roping down mountain cliffs, or jumping around on slippery rocks covered in seaweed with 2 tripods, a rail, a controller, camera, lenses, filters and rigging for 4-5 hour long sequences at a time, and then having to calculate the rise and fall of the tides in order to capture the essence - it all proved bit of a challenge. And almost as if planned, the trip would turn out to become very difficult indeed. I had numerous setbacks including: airline lost my luggage, struggling to swim ashore after falling into the Arctic sea: twice, breaking lenses, filters, tripod, computer, losing the whole dolly rig and controller into the sea, and even falling off a rather tall rock and ending up in the hospital. As much as I wanted to give up, the best way Out is always “Through”. I am glad I stuck it through though because there were some amazing sunrises waiting. At 1:06 you see a single scene from day to night to day which is from 9pm to 7am. Think about that for a minute.. 10 hours with light like that. I asked the very talented Marika Takeuchi to specifically compose and perform a song for this movie, and what she came up with is absolutely remarkable. Thank you very much Marika!
